Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

NicheLens collects the minimum data required to run the service: your email address and hashed password (or OAuth identifier) when you sign up, and basic telemetry about which opportunity reports you view so we can improve quality. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with third parties beyond our subprocessors (listed below).

2. Public data we analyze

The pain points surfaced on NicheLens are drawn exclusively from publicly available content on Reddit, Hacker News, GitHub Issues, Product Hunt, and G2. We follow each platform's terms of service and respect robots.txt directives. Every quote is linked back to its original source. If you authored a quote and wish to have it removed, email privacy@nichelens.app.

3. Cookies

We use a single first-party cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels, no fingerprinting.

4. Subprocessors

Hosting: Vercel. Database: Neon (PostgreSQL). Payments: Stripe (when enabled). AI inference: Z.ai. Email: Resend. Each is contractually bound by a DPA that mirrors our commitments here.

5. Your rights

You can request export or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@nichelens.app. We honor requests within 30 days.

6. Contact

For any privacy question, reach us at privacy@nichelens.app. For a full list of subprocessors or a signed DPA, contact legal@nichelens.app.
